The Town of Stewiacke has rescheduled the combined council meeting for December 2022 to Thursday, December 22nd, 2022 at 7:00 pm. This is a hybrid meeting with the option of attending in person at the Stewiacke Town Office or through Zoom. The agenda remains the same.

Workshop

Details

The Town of Stewiacke Council, Town Staff and members of the Planning and Advisory Committee are attending a workshop on December 8th at 6:30 pm at the Stewiacke Community Centre. This workshop is facilitated by FMB & CBCL, which is working on a Sustainable Community Growth Strategy for the Town of Stewiacke. The public is invited to observe the workshop on the 8th of December.

Volunteer of the Year for the Town of Stewiacke

On behalf of Stewiacke Town Council, I am privileged to congratulate Penny Colpitts who has been named Volunteer of the Year for the Town of Stewiacke.

Penny has volunteered for the past thirty years with the Stewiacke Legion, Stewiacke Library, and Stewiacke Community Meals and for many years volunteered in the local school system.

I was honoured to attend the 2022 Provincial Volunteer Awards ceremony and witness Penny received her much-deserved recognition.

We are blessed to have dedicated citizens such as Penny in our town who go above and beyond. Penny is a classic example of what Stewiacke Proud stands for.
