A permit to burn may, by written notice, be cancelled or suspended at any time by the Fire Chief or Deputy Chief and upon receiving notice of cancellation or suspension, the permit holder shall extinguish any fire started under the permit.
Any person failing to comply with the terms and conditions contained on a permit to burn or on any sheet annexed thereto is guilty of an offence.
This permit to burn is automatically cancelled upon Proclamation by the Mayor of Stewiacke.
This permit to burn is subject to all terms and conditions contained in the “By-law Respecting the Burning of Brush, Wood, and Yard Debris in the Town of Stewiacke.”
