Our beautiful community, located just off Highway 102 is full of small-town charm and fantastic views with plenty of key amenities and services. It’s lively around here, with a doctor and dentist's office within walking distance: a library, grocery and liquor stores, and various other shops and restaurants all around the town.
The Colchester East Hants Health Centre is located 15 minutes from Stewiacke and there is also a newly built elementary school! There are numerous natural and groomed trails within town limits as well as two parks and three rivers for outdoor recreation, all providing residents with community living where one can live, work, and play.
The town also has lots of activities and amenities for kids of all ages including a skate park and a fun outdoor SplashPad water play zone. We also have various pre-school and after-school programs, along with summer day camps, and recreational soccer and baseball programs. In the winter we have an outdoor skating rink in Dennis Park.
Stewiacke is approximately a 30-minute drive to Burnside Industrial park, 15 minutes from Truro and all its amenities, and 20 minutes from the Halifax International Airport. An ideal place for people that needs to travel or commute to their workplaces.
