On behalf of the Colchester-East Hants Public Library Board, it is with deep sadness that I share the very tragic news of CEO and Chief Librarian Jeff Mercer’s sudden passing.
Jeff was a dedicated leader, colleague and advocate for the importance of libraries and the communities they serve.
All library branches will remain open.
More information regarding arrangements will be shared at the appropriate time.
At this time, we wish to ask for the public’s support and kindness as our staff navigate through this difficult time.
Please keep Jeff’s family, friends and colleagues in your thoughts.
