Death Of Town Councillor - Mary Commo
- Details
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of one of our Councillors this morning. Mary Commo dedicated close to 8 years of her life serving the Town of Stewiacke in her role as a Town Councillor. She sat on various committees but spent a lot of her elected time supporting tourism in Stewiacke and chairing the Regional Waste Management Program for Colchester, Cumberland and East Hants. Mary had a strong will to survive and we will miss her vision, love of Stewiacke, toughness and her infectious laugh. We are sending love to all who knew her.
Our flags will fly at half-mast in Councilor Mary Commo's memory and will remain half-mast until sunset of her funeral.
Sincerely,
Mayor George Lloy
