Our goal as a Town is to provide all community members with the opportunity to grow physically and mentally through living a healthier more active life. The steps we are taking to achieve this goal is by offering programs that interest all members of all ages within the community. The Town is working hard to maintain all facilities that are used for recreational activities and we are consistently looking for new opportunities to bring new programming and facilities to our area.

MPAL Plan
The Town of Stewiacke receives funding from the Province of Nova Scotia each year to support the role of the Recreation & Physical Activity Coordinator. This partnership requires the Town of Stewiacke to create, follow and update a Strategic Plan set out with initiatives and goals for the recreation department to achieve. Walkability Plan (Walk and Wheel)
