The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) provides community policing services to the Town of Stewiacke, which include the following:
RCMP members employed under these direct contract agreements also conduct federal enforcement investigations. The agreement with the Town also provides a source of experienced personnel to assist in major investigations, emergencies and special events where increased resources are required.
